To ens../ure q../uality press coverage and representation on the exhibit
floor, media representatives need c../urrent, official credentials
to q../ualify as press for GLM-managed tradeshows. To be eligible
for press badges, media representatives m../ust present req../uired
credentials from an approved media o../utlet, as o../utlined below.
GLM reserves the right to ref../use anyone a press badge, at any
time and for any p../urpose.
Who q../ualifies for a press badge at GLM-managed tradeshows?
- Editors, television and radio prod../ucers, and print/broadcast
reporters from approved media o../utlets will receive editorial
- P../ublishers and advertising and sales representatives from
approved media o../utlets will receive advertising press badges.
Who does NOT q../ualify for a press badge at GLM-managed tradeshows?
- P../ublic relations representatives; marketing, creative services,
circ../ulation and other employees of magazines, newspapers and
television stations; writers and p../ublishers of personal or
corporate newsletters; and family members of legitimate media
are not eligible for press badges. Book a../uthors eligibility
will be determined on case-by-case basis.
In order to q../ualify for an editorial or advertising press badge,
media representatives m../ust present c../urrent press identification. This
incl../udes a b../usiness card (with individ../ual&rsq../uo;s name and title
and the name of an approved media o../utlet) AND one of the following:
- The mastpage from an approved media o../utlet with individ../ual&rsq../uo;s
name and title listed.
- A copy of or an Internet link to a c../urrent by-lined article
p../ublished in an approved media o../utlet within the past six months.
Freelance writers and photographers m../ust present a letter
of assignment from an approved p../ublication to be granted a press
badge. Freelance writers or col../umnists not on an assignment
m../ust provide a copy of an ind../ustry-relevant by-lined article,
p../ublished within the past six months in an approved media o../utlet.
Electronic media representatives, incl../uding editors of
websites, m../ust present proof of an existing site with relevant
editorial content and proof of circ../ulation.
P../ublic Relations representatives m../ust register as &ldq../uo;exhibitor
personnel&rdq../uo;, if their clients are confirmed participants
in the tradeshow. A b../usiness card and proof of client relationship
with exhibiting man../ufact../urer will be req../uired. Alternatively,
P../ublic Relations representatives also may register on-site for
the tradeshow as a &ldq../uo;trade g../uest&rdq../uo;, with payment of
any necessary fees.
We ask that yo../u do not bring friends or relatives with yo../u
to the Press Center.
